To most people, hugs symbolize comfort, caring and friendship. To those of us lucky enough to be owned by a cat (or cats!), we see our feline companions as friends. To some, their even our children. Many cats and their humans share a bond that centers around trust and love, including friendship and comfort.
How many times have you had a bad day or just felt down, and had your cat come jump into your lap and purr or snuggle? Or even had your cat do something silly that made you laugh and feel a little better?
So take a moment today and give your kitty friend a hug. Or if your cat is not the hugging type, consider a special rub or scratch behind the ears, a special grooming, or extra long play session. Show your cat you appreciate her love and companionship.
